     Hi!  Welcome to Mrs. Huffman's class.  This website will be updated each Friday with information about what the class is learning, upcoming events and announcements.  This will contain the information that is sent home in the letter to your parents each Friday, plus puzzles, Person of the Month and other information of interest.  Please check this webpage weekly for information about your class. I hope you enjoy using it.

August 27, 2003 - First Day of School

September 1, 2003 - Labor Day, No School

     A field trip is being planned for the Art Institute for late September -  We will concentrating on French impressionest paintings. Mrs. Huffman will be treating the class to lunch on that day.

     A second field trip to the Chicago Historical Society is in the planning stages.  We will be learning about the early history and industry in the Chicago area.  

     Every month we will feature a member of the school staff .  The September person of the month is Mrs.Phyllis Huffman.

      This is my fourth year teaching at Lincoln School.  I have a grown son and daughter and three grandchildren and a cat named Gargoyle   I love to read.  My hobbies are painting ceramics and gardening. I am looking forward to a good year of learning and fun with all of you.  I am also looking forward to meeting all your parents and working with them.
